Dummy Valves
Vanoil Completion Systems RD-1, RD-1BL, and RD-2 wireline retrievable dummy valves are designed to isolate communication between tubing and casing in wireline retrievable mandrels.
The RD-1 and RD-1BL are 1” outside diameter valves using a top latch and an integral bottom latch respectively. The
RD-2 is a 1-1/2” outside diameter valve using a top latch.
All these valves straddle and pack-off the ports in the side pocket mandrel using two sets of packing.
